Despite all the pop culture notoriety, Maren was not quagmired. He forged a fairly successful career that saw him appearing with the Marx Brothers, on shows like Bewitched and Get Smart and even more contemporary appearances like The Twilight Zone and Seinfeld. He also helped organize Little People of America – an advocacy group – with friend, Billy Barty. In 2007, Maren appeared alongside fellow Oz costars such as Mickey Carroll and Margaret Pellegrini at the unveiling of the “Wizard of Oz Munchkins” star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
